CUNY Graduate School of Journalism is seeking a WordPress expert to instruct students in how to build their online portfolio using WordPress installations and front end programming.
The immediate need is for an instructor for a Thursday, February 2 class session consisting of about 10 students.
The instructor will help students modify their Wordpress sites beyond using the built-in interface for customizing themes. This might include tweaking the CSS, creating child themes, plus other ideas that you bring to the table.
We also request your availability for out-of-class office hours where you’ll provide one-on-one guidance and assist troubleshooting issues in each student’s work. We need at least 15 consulting hours during the early part of the semester, and there is a distinct possibility that consulting hours could extend through this semester and even next fall.
